Story

The story of Heaven Deli & Market begins in the summer of 2018, when we opened the first Heaven Deli & Market in Miramar, Florida. At Heaven we believe in family tradition and delicious food coming together.

Having nearby locations that people can visit and offering the same authentic home taste in each of our locations has made our vision a reality.

Our goal was, and has always been simple. To serve delicious, Latin inspired food at family friendly prices, and create a place where guests of all ages could come together to experience the delicious flavors of a Latin food. Heaven is where you enjoy more for less.

Summary:Acts as administrator and coordinator of resources and goals with a focus on customer satisfaction in relation to control of the kitchen by performing the following duties.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

1. Prepares schedule for kitchen employees.*
2. Prepares all food items prior to and during meal time periods according to written
food orders.
3. Prepares weekly menu.
4. Uses preparatory utensils on a regular basis.
5. Monitors the production of and flow of food and ensures all leftover/unused food
products are stored/restocked or disposed of properly.*
6. Trains employees.*
7. Maintains a clean work area within company and state standards.*
8. Processes inventory, checks stock and ensures adequate stock levels.*
9. Handles ordering, purchasing, verifying costs and developing new related guidelines.*
10. Sets goals to improve quality, productivity, motivations, customer satisfaction and morale.*
11. Provides visible supportive management practices, commitment and leadership with openness trust, patience and discipline.*
12. Reports any health and/or safety concerns/violations immediately to management.

Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or

Education/Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and two to four year related
experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Certification:
Food Protection Manager Certification Supervisory

Responsibilities:
Manages two (2) or more employees in the work area of the Cafeteria. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination and evaluation of this department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the company policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
