Story

The story of Heaven Deli & Market begins in the summer of 2018, when we opened the first Heaven Deli & Market in Miramar, Florida. At Heaven we believe in family tradition and delicious food coming together.

Having nearby locations that people can visit and offering the same authentic home taste in each of our locations has made our vision a reality.

Our goal was, and has always been simple. To serve delicious, Latin inspired food at family friendly prices, and create a place where guests of all ages could come together to experience the delicious flavors of a Latin food. Heaven is where you enjoy more for less.

Summary: Responsible for overseeing daily office activities to ensure smooth operations, providing qualified staff and performing related administrative duties by performing the following duties.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1. Oversees the completion of special projects as needed.
2. Schedules appointments and office meetings as needed.
3. Processes accounts payable and accounts receivable.
4. Processes bank deposits to include accounting for daily cash receipts.
5. Assists with creating daily operational accounting report.
6. Performs routine administrative functions including word processing correspondence,
memos and reports.
7. Maintains personnel files in an organized and accessible manner to include updating
information along with filing correspondence and other related information in a timely
manner.
8. Prepares bank reconciliations on a monthly basis.
9. Prepares invoice deduction notices when required.
10. Responds to all vendor inquiries in a courteous manner.
11. Prepares weekly sales reports.*
12. Prepares and validate principal’s merchandise inventory on a regular basis.
13. Assists in preparing materials and in presenting benefit plan changes to employees.*
14. Operates standard office equipment efficiently to include:

  • multi-line telephone system
  • facsimile machine
  • photocopy machine
  • postage meter
  • calculator
  • computer/printer

*Essential Function
15. Maintains the office supply inventory and orders additional supplies as needed.
16. Opens and distributes incoming mail on a daily basis.
17. Troubleshoots and resolves all computer problems by communicating with computer
vendors.
18. Performs computer back up on a daily basis.
19. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Support on Supervisory Responsibilities:
– Delegates administrative duties to staff as well as supervises and provides instruction as needed.
– Maintains employee work/vacation schedules to ensure staffing needs are met in accordance with
company policy and guidelines.
– Provides guidance and direction to staff to assist in their professional development to include
facilitating cross training employees.

Education/Experience:
