Story

The story of Heaven Deli & Market begins in the summer of 2018, when we opened the first Heaven Deli & Market in Miramar, Florida. At Heaven we believe in family tradition and delicious food coming together.

Having nearby locations that people can visit and offering the same authentic home taste in each of our locations has made our vision a reality.

Our goal was, and has always been simple. To serve delicious, Latin inspired food at family friendly prices, and create a place where guests of all ages could come together to experience the delicious flavors of a Latin food. Heaven is where you enjoy more for less.

Summary: To ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the service station through quality customer service by performing the following duties.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

1. Greets and services customers in a timely and courteous manner.
2. Takes purchase orders and dispenses products in accordance with approved safety
procedures.
3. Receives cash, charge and check transactions in accordance with service station
procedures.
4. Obtains gas report from the tanks before and after the gas delivery.
5. Completes opening and closing duties to include:

  • balancing cash drawer and totaling currency sales each day
  • completing inventory
  • completing appropriate shift end paperwork

6. Maintains the cleanliness of the station and restrooms to include mopping, stocking
supplies, emptying trash barrels, wiping down pumps and sweeping and hosing driveway.
7. Reports equipment malfunctions/problems to Manager in accordance with training
procedures.
8. Signs for deliveries as needed, and stocks shelves after delivery of merchandise.
9. Adheres to all company policies and procedures paying special attention to health and/or
safety procedures.
10. Reports any health and/or safety violations to the Manager.
11. Trains new cashiers on approved company procedures.
12. Sell postage, books of stamps other products, such as shipping boxes, envelopes and other
mailing materials.
13. Affix stamps to packages.
14. Inform customer about postage rates.
15. Retrieve parcels from the back that couldn’t be dropped off and give to customer.
16. Check packages for proper postage and addresses.
17. Hand-stamp mail.
18. Fill out and process money orders.
19. Register, certify, and insure letters and parcels.
20. Give change to customers.
21. Set postage meters.
22. Handle complaints regarding mail theft, delivery problems, and lost or damaged mail.
23. Prepare rental contracts and invoices for customers
24. Maintain the facility and lot in a clean condition
25. Clean and inspect rental equipment
26. Look up reservations in the system
27. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Support on Supervisory Responsibilities:
– Delegates administrative duties to staff as well as supervises and provides instruction as needed.
– Maintains employee work/vacation schedules to ensure staffing needs are met in accordance with
company policy and guidelines.
– Provides guidance and direction to staff to assist in their professional development to include
facilitating cross training employees.

Education/Experience:
No degree required. Prior work related experience helpful.

Requirements:
Position requires a valid driver’s license and a good driving record to operate a motor vehicle.
Adhere to all local vehicular regulations while driving. Ability to maintain good housekeeping practices in the work area and comply with all safety rules and procedures.
