Story

The story of Heaven Deli & Market begins in the summer of 2018, when we opened the first Heaven Deli & Market in Miramar, Florida. At Heaven we believe in family tradition and delicious food coming together.

Having nearby locations that people can visit and offering the same authentic home taste in each of our locations has made our vision a reality.

Our goal was, and has always been simple. To serve delicious, Latin inspired food at family friendly prices, and create a place where guests of all ages could come together to experience the delicious flavors of a Latin food. Heaven is where you enjoy more for less.

The Station Assistant Operation Manager is the second in the second hand of the Operation Manager. Primarily responsible for the supervising of the station objectives: staffing, merchandising and maintaining high standards of customer service and safety. Adopts and demonstrates the company philosophies and standards regarding station operations, image and personnel management.

Principal Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Duties include control and monitor station expenses and inventory, cleaning, maintenance, and customer relations.*
  • Assist Operation Manager in the bank related task.
  • Prepares the Daily Sales reports that contain all the shifts transaction.*
  • It’s responsible for making all the purchases of goods for the station.*
  • Assists Office Staff in special assignments or projects and keeps Office Staff informed of
    station operations.
  • Performs all duties of station staff as required.
  • Provides exceptional customer service and ensure team does the same, including but
    not limited to, a pleasant greeting, soliciting additional sales, processing the transaction accurately, thanking the customer and inviting them to return.
  • Strong interpersonal and verbal & written communication skills, including the ability to
    professionally communicate to your team, customers, colleagues, management and vendors.
  • Ensure execution of established safety, security, quality, policies, procedures, practices
    and programs.
  • Provide regular and predictable attendance.
  • Complete other tasks as assigned by management.
    Skills and Experience Include but Not Limited to:
  • Previous supervisory experience.
  • Previous retail experience and/or customer service experience.
  • Available to work a variety of hours, which may include early mornings, evenings,
    weekends, overnight shifts, and holidays.
  • Strong interpersonal and verbal & written communication skills.
  • Ability to read, write, speak and comprehend English effectively
  • Ethical, honest, trustworthy, respectful, compassionate, supportive and patient
  • Basic math skills such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  • Must possess intermediate PC skills.
  • Must possess required up-to-date food handling certificates.
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and current automobile insurance.*
    Physical Demands Include but Not Limited To:
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods of times on hard and uneven surfaces.
  • Ability to process information and merchandise through cash register system. Repetitive
    motion with hands, wrists, elbows and shoulders.

*Essential Function

  • Ability to operate and use all equipment necessary to run the store. Vision and depth
    perception is required.
  • Ability to bend, carry, push, pull, stoop, squat, twist or lift to stock merchandise and clean
    station in narrow spaces. Merchandise, equipment and cleaning supplies throughout the station generally weighing 0-50 pounds. Use of strong chemicals.
  • Ability to work unaccompanied at a rapid work pace for extended shifts of 12 hours or more, as assigned.
  • Periodic exposure to all outdoor conditions at all times of day.
  • Occasional exposure to prolonged periods in walk-in coolers at 34’F.
  • May also experience extreme hot temperatures when operating store equipment.
  • Operate a motor vehicle in all local weather conditions
    Support on Supervisory

Responsibilities:
Help the Operation Manager on the staff related duties. Is responsible for supervise the overall direction, coordination and evaluation of the store. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the company policies and applicable laws.

Education/Experience:
High School Diploma or Equivalent. Previous cash handling experience and supervisory
experience required.

Certification:
Food Protection Manager Certification
